The Stand is an extremely awesome “hot dogs and more” joint over in Encino. Most of the week it’s a good value with 8 bucks getting you a couple dogs, awesome potato chips, and a drink.
The best day of the week, however, is Monday. This is Dollar Dog Night!
$1 gets you a dog with the basics (tomatoes, 2 kinds of onions, 3 different kinds of relish, etc.). $2.50 gets you the deluxe toppings (chili, grilled onions, cheddar cheese, etc.) Chips are an extra $.50.
The wife and I get a full meal for 8 bucks. This place is highly recommended.
